marketing director
Meet Elizabeth (Liz) Bryant, Director of Marketing for CTE. Liz has been with CTE since 2010 and loves working with the team to keep our customers up and running. Every day she still learns something new and meets someone new.
As a true Virginia girl, Liz is always passionate about being outdoors, spending time with family, and of course being creative through painting, drawing and design. She got engaged, bought her first home, got married to her wonderful husband, Brick, and became a mother of 2 young children, daughter Clarke (4) and son Bo (1.5). She is a converted UNC- Chapel Hill fan who will continue to cheer on the Tar Heels even when surrounded by the Wolfpack.
Liz's favorite part of her job are the people and seeing projects come to fruition – especially those requests that seem insurmountable. Yep, she questions herself, and doesn’t always get it right the first time, but when we solve the problem together and make the customer happy, it’s all worth it. As a member of Marketing, Liz is customer-obsessed and works to ensure their experience with CTE is effortless, appreciated and secure; the brand is strong in our market and the team is ready with the right tools and training to tackle any obstacle thrown their way.
marketing SPECIALIST
Danielle is new to the CTE Marketing Team and is the dedicated Marketing Specialist for LiftOne. A San Diego native, she moved to the Charlotte area in early 2019. While she may be constantly lost driving around town and not know which local sports teams to root for, she is excited to bring her experience as a Marketing Project Manager for an insurance company to the material handling world.
Although Marketing wasn’t what Danielle originally wanted to go to school for, she switched majors when she realized marketing combined her two greatest strengths – creativity and organization. What she loves most about marketing is working with individuals to learn about their marketing needs, thinking of innovative ways to solve these problems and seeing the marketing campaign come to life.
When Danielle’s not in the office, you can find her with her fiancé Danny, at Costco, the gym or exploring local breweries and restaurants. She’s also a mother to a fur child, a chocolate lab named Lola, and hopes to be expecting a new puppy soon!
marketing coordinator
Marianne is the marketing coordinator for LiftOne. A graduate from East Carolina University, Marianne started as a sales and management trainee at LiftOne since finishing the Hyster-Yale Sales Rotational Program in April of 2018. She likes working for CTE because she has gotten a chance to learn different facets and components essential to the industry.
She is very driven, ambitious and adaptable. The “adaptable” being a quality portrayed in the workplace since she is willing to take on different unrelated tasks to absorb as much knowledge as possible.
Marianne was born in Panama and has spent half her life in North Carolina and the other half in Honduras. She has lived in 4 different countries and knows how to speak 3 languages. She is very passionate about travelling and would love it if she were to visit every single country in the world one day.
In her spare time, she likes to go to the gym, watch Netflix, travel when possible, and hang out with friends.
COMMUNICATIONS & EVENTS SPECIALIST
Daniel is a versatile marketer with a passion for events, customers and brand and product management. Originally from the Charleston, SC area, Daniel attended the University of South Carolina where he studied marketing and management before landing in Charlotte after graduation. Prior to joining CTE, Daniel has served in various marketing and product management roles with MHI, Diversey, and Newell Brands, and is excited to be joining the CTE team.
In his spare time, Daniel is an FAA-certified hot air balloon pilot and enjoys flying locally in the Charlotte area, as well as traveling to different events around the country. Daniel serves on the board of directors for the Carolina BalloonFest, held annually in Statesville in October, and leads all flight operations for the event. When not flying, he enjoys spending time outdoors, whether that be hiking, mountain biking or just hanging out with friends.
marketing specialist
Christy is an expert relationship builder and organizer of things – a true Virgo. While she was born in Mount Airy, NC, she spent most of her life growing up on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland with her parents and sister. She and her husband, Nate, now live near Lake Norman and are expecting their first baby girl on Valentine’s Day in the new year. During most of her free time, she spends it with her husband and two dogs, Bubba Gump & Avalanche, hiking and exploring Western, NC.
Christy has worked for CTE’s marketing department for a combined 6 years (yes she is the boomerang of the department). Since her return to CTE over a year ago, she has been focused on advertising and promoting the compact and rental business for the construction division. As a former architect major, Christy has always had a passion to “build” things and is why she has perfectly embedded herself into the culture of CTE.
marketing specialist
Josh is a North Carolina native. Born in Raleigh and raised in the Charlotte area. He is very passionate about all things related to the Queen City, especially the Charlotte 49ers. Which is where he graduated from college and met his wife, Laura. He enjoys being outside doing almost anything, including F3 at 5:30am and River Jam in the evening.
Previous to joining CTE he worked in sports marketing, planning and executing NASCAR hospitality events with various clients. He still follows the sport and enjoys taking in all types of racing.
Josh will be supporting GCI, Product Support, Power Systems, and Prime Source. Being new to the industry he is very excited to learn as much as possible about the business and hope he gets to operate a few machines. He is accepting tips on how to master the millions of acronyms that seem to be coming his way daily.
digital marketing supervisor
Nikki Mango Maple (formerly a fruit, now a flavor of syrup) has devoted her career to becoming a master of many trades. She knew she wanted to be an artist since the day she was able to pick up a pencil. From a storybook illustrator, to a brief period of “dinosaur digger”, to wanting to study fashion design and photography, she finally found her passion in the graphic arts while attending the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities. However, it wasn’t until Mark Zuckerburg launched Facebook, starting a movement that would completely change how companies go to market today, when Nikki found her niche – helping brands build relationships with customers in the digital space.
While Nikki has worked in 6 different industries throughout her career, she has very much enjoyed exploring the craft that is rooted in the industries CTE supports today. She looks forward to continually evolving our digital footprint and taking CTE to a state where we could, on day, sell a machine online.
When Nikki is not making art on the computer, she is doing macaroni art with her 2 beautiful girls, London and Sydney while cheering on the Clemson Tigers and “Who Dat”. She enjoys traveling to different beaches with her husband, Shea and occasionally visiting her happy place(s), Disney World / Hogwarts.
digital marketing sPECIALIST
Nicole Cortazzo (not as hard to say as it looks, promise!) is a New Jersey native who’s been living in Charlotte for the past 10 years and has thoroughly fallen in love with the Queen City. As a lover of all things creative, she attended UNCC for dance, is an avid movie buff, co-runs a book club for women in Charlotte, and has found her passion in digital and graphic design. When she’s not spoiling her 2 cats at home, she enjoys traveling, attending team trivia, reading up on bizarre medical history (latest kick: Justinian plague), and attempting to keep up with the Charlotte restaurant and brewery scene.
After spending the first few years of her post-college life as a teacher, Nicole is excited to have finally found her calling in marketing and is thrilled to be an active member of the CTE Marketing team, supporting all of our divisions. As a marketing enthusiast, Nicole is excited to bring a fresh perspective to our digital efforts, where she hopes to make the marketing environment even more efficient.
BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
Andrew is a Charlotte native who attended NC State. He enjoys watching sports, riding bikes (from place to place – not for speed) and doing other semi-active/casual activities. He also tries to make it on at least one or two ski trips a year. Andrew has a degree in Environmental Engineer (NCSU), PE license (District Columbia), graduate certificate in Computer Science (NCSU) and is fascinated by DBS. He has been at CTE for just over a year and is very appreciative to those who have helped him understand the systems and what all the different acronyms / letters mean. He looks forward to bringing insights and efficiencies to the company through the various information sources available.
Andrew would like to request you watch out for bus riders as he often uses the CATS system to get to work.
